THE SECOND SEMINAR OF THE COOPERATION PROJECT ON THE RESTORATION OF IMRAHOR ILYAS BEY MOSQUE WAS HELD ON ONLINE PLATFORM

The second seminar of the Cooperation Project on The Restoration of Imrahor Ilyas Bey Mosque (Medart Türkiye Imrahor Mosque Cooperation Project) was held on online platform with the participation of The Directorate General of Foundations Deputy Director General Mr. A. Cem Aslanbay.

Within the scope of the seminar, after the presentation of the cooperation project and the mosque which the tests will be carried out within the scope of the project, informative presentations were made on the preliminary preparations of the restoration, the planned test and analys methods.

To the second seminar in which the general presentations were made on the field studies carried out in June, July, September and November, The Assourestauro officals and the experts of the companies that participated to the field studies, The Türkiye and Rome representatives of The Italian Trade Centre, the officials of Our Directorate General and approximately 140 technical personnel, who are determined by the Art and Construction Works Department,  those whom work either in our General Directorate’s central and/or provincial organizations and also work in our restorations joined.

The seminar series will continue in 2022 with training presentations where the results and outputs of the tests and analyzes carried out in the field studies will be shared.
