The delegation, including the Special Envoy for Freedom of Religion and Belief of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Ambassador Bea ten Tusscher, and the Dutch Ambassador to Ankara, Joep Wijnands, visited our Director General, Mr. Sinan Aksu, in his office.
During the meeting, discussions were held on preserving religious freedoms within the framework of international standards and human rights principles. There was an exchange of views on issues related to freedom of religion and belief, and the efforts undertaken by our Directorate in this field were explained. The sensitive approach of our country to this matter was emphasized.
