OUR DIRECTOR GENERAL MR BURHAN ERSOY HOSTED THE PALESTINIAN DELEGATION

Our Director General Mr. Burhan Ersoy hosted The Minister of Foundations and Religious Affairs of Palestine H.E. Hatem Mohammed Helmy Abdulsamie Al-Bakri and the Ambassador of Palestine to Ankara H.E Dr. Faed Mustafa and their accompanying delegation in his office.

The Palestinian Minister who visited Jordan and Saudi Arabia as a part of his first overseas visit after his appointment, also came to Türkiye for paying a courtesy visit to our Director General and in this visit he stated that they wanted to strengthen the cooperation between the two countries and to establish new collaborations in the future.  

Emphasizing that he personally witnessed the blockade to the Palestinians during his visits to Palestine, our Director General Mr. Ersoy said, “Palestine is a lifeblood for our country and a holy place. Under the leadership of Our President H.E. Mr Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the entire people of Türkiye own up to our country’s struggle for Palestine”.

Touching upon the friendly relations between the two countries, the Palestinian Minister also thanked to our President and Türkiye for their support of the Palestinian case.

Noting on the continuation of the Palestine and Jerusalem sensitivity of our country’s institutions all Mr Ersoy said “We are doing our share on this case”

During the meeting the cooperation protocol between the two countries, which envisages the exchange of documents belonging to the Ottoman Period Palestinian Foundations and which is at the signing stage, was also handled and it was agreed that it should be signed as soon as possible and it was also noted that both sides were willing to cooperate in the field of foundations in the future as well.

The Palestinian delegation also made an invitation to our Director General for cooperation regarding the request for the International Islamic Conference (Beytülmakdis).
